Tamilnadu Teachers Recruitment Board announced all the special teachers for P.E.T., Drawing and music will be appointed by only through the TRB Exam for the Govt. Schools. In Tamilnadu schools the special teachers for P.E.T., Drawing and music were appointed only on the basis of employment seniority and caste roaster.
Already 1,028 special teachers were appointed on the basis of employment seniority in 2012. In that procedure TRB published the selected candidates list on the basis of employment seniority. But a case was filed against this list by muthuvelan in Madurai High Court Branch.
In that case the high court suggested the TRB to select the candidates on the basis of requiring eligibility, employment seniority. Written Test and interview as per the court order our Govt indicated the TRB to follow new rules and regulation after that the new rules of TRB was approved and Govt. issued a new G.O on the basis of the rule.
In the new rule and way of selecting the special teachers are not on the basis of Employment Seniority but through the TRB exam. All the eligible candidates can apply for this exam. The marks are alloted like,
95 Marks for - Exam,
5 Marks for - Interview
Total = 100 Marks.
The interview will be called for 1:5 ratio. SCERT prepares the Question Paper and the time duration is 3 hours for this exam. Totally 190 Questions are asked. Each question carries 1/2 mark totally 95 marks are the procedure of exam counducting, valuation result announcing all are controlled by TRB.
The cost of application is Rs.500 for General candidates for differently abled persons and SC, ST candidates can get the application form for Rs. 250.
